Children/Grandchildren: Dr. Jeffrey Russell-son graduate Dallas Baptist University, Master's Degree, Texas A&M Commerce. Summer More…of 2021 he will begin work on his PhD. Jeff's education career involved teaching, coaching, and assistant principal to middle schoolers. He was asked by the district's central office to fill in as Director of Personnel for a while and is now at the high school in Canton, Tx. as an assistant principal. Jeff was recently promoted to head principal at the High school for Wills Point ISD. He now serves as Assistant Superintendent of schools for Wills Point ISD. Jeff now is the Superintendent for S&S Consolidated School District in Sadler, Texas. His wife Angela previously was choir director at Crockett Middle School in Irving. She now is high school choir director with Canton ISD and is director in a local district where Jeff is Superintendent. They have two daughters, Avery and Addyson.

Julie Russell Mosty graduating with a Master's Degree in Library Science on May 10th 2014 from TWU. She previously taught third and fourth grade at Brandenburg Elementary in Irving. She served as the librarian at Stipes Elementary School for a few years following in the footsteps of Sandra Bennett. She and her family moved from Irving and she currently is librarian for Coppell ISD. Julie is mom to Abigail and Rylee. She is married to Nicholas Mosty of Irving.
Comments:

We left Irving in 2019 and moved to Flower Mound, Texas. We are just minutes away from Grapevine Lake and Lake Lewisville is not far either. Lewis loves it now that he is retired. We just recently joined Bridlewood Golf Club and enjoying our sweet grands and plan to take a few trips once travel is back to normal.
School Story:

My work career during Lewis finishing his military career in Austin, Texas I worked as a Senior Secretary for three Economic Professors at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin. I Retired from Irving ISD many years later.
Military Family:

I became a part of military life through the service of my husband, Lewis. He was in the Air Force during the Vietnam era. We married after his return and I became a military wife. Quite a learning experience for me and one I will never forget.

Sorry to hear of Pete's passing.  He will be missed.  My husband, Lewis Russell  said "Pete was an awesome baseball catcher."  He loved watching him play.  May my Class of '69 friend and classmate rest in peace.  Lewis & Shirley Perry Russell🌹

I didn't know Jim well in high school but when my husband I attended my 40th reunion that year Jim joined us at our table and welcomed us and told us he was glad we could make it.  We had some good conversation about Irving back in the day and enjoyed our visit.  I found him to be very personable and friendly.  Rest In Peace Class of '69 friend.  You will be missed.
