V. Carol Barnidge Garcia

I have taught sciences primarily chemistry at Natchitoches Central High School for 36 years. I retired in May of 2009. During this time I married Charles Garcia and we had 2 children Christine and Christopher. Both are married and Christopher has 2 children Daniel (4) and Morgan (3 mo). Christine is still trying. I also have 2 step daughters who also have children that have children. I recently raised one of my great-grandsons for 2 years so I feel like a mom again. It was a wonderful experience. I spend my time now taking care of grand and great grand kids. I may have to go back to work.
We have a farm where we raise a few cows and where we are in the process of building a house. This is where we will retire to do whatever comes next.

I went to college and got a bachelors and a masters at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA. I stayed in Natchitoches and taught at Natchitoches Central High School until I retired in May of 2009.
