The last 40 years have flown by, haven't they? I toured as a musician for many, many of those years. Had a few chart records in Billboard, but never had the record that changed my life very much. As a songwriter, I was able to get a few things placed in major catalogs. Beyond that, the bus and truck just became another day at the office!
Went to law school at 49 years of age to reinvent my wheels for the music industry. While I am doing some consulting and artist development work, I have a general law practice to keep the lights on. I get to music regularly is as mix engineer for our Contemporary Christian Music team at First United Methodist Church Irving. And I'm working with two artists, Faith Ecklund, a contemporary Christian singer/songwriter, and Holly Tucker, a country sensation who you might remember from the Voice (Top 6).
My wife and I live in the old Lucas house on Jefferson. She teaches dance, sings in a band that does a lot of the parties in town, and is the primary caregiver to our grand kids.
Please drop me a line, or come by if you get the chance. I look forward to seeing you all!
