Peggy Fogus Thornhill

We will have our 41st anniversary in June of this year. We lived in the city forever, then decided we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, so we moved to our five acres in Whitewright, southeast of Sherman. Our little town has approximately 1800 residents, NO signal lights, and only a very few 4 way stop signs. No traffic is wonderful! We have 8 dogs, 2 cats, 1 calf, 1 horse and 1 turtle! We have both retired from Verizon (GTE). David has returned to work, while I am a stay at home grandmother for the time being!

I don't have any one particular story. I just remember the football games, going to the Wichita Falls football game on the bus and watching our team beat them for the first time in ?? years, hanging out at Chubby's, and going to the 183 drive in movie.

My only regret was that I didn't get to go to my senior prom because I was married.
