Mike Story

Mike Story a 20 year resident of Grapevine died Thursday of a stroke. Born on April 13, 1951, in Dallas, he was a construction supervisor and a member of Cundiff Baptist Church. He is the great-great-grandson of Irving pioneer Jonathan Story. Services were Monday at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home with burial at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife of over 30 years Jan Story of Grapevine; daughter Lisa Story of Arlington; sons Todd Story of Fort Worth, and Brandon Story and Chris Story, both of Grapevine; parents Raymond and Pat Story of Irving; sister Sharon Kline and her husband John of Seattle; and brothers Phillip Story and his wife Kelly of Irving and Mark Story of San Antonio.

He and his wife of over 30 years Jan Umphress have 4 wonderful kids who are all grown with familes of their own now
