In Memory

Floyd Bryant

Floyd Bryant passed on April 30, 2010.  He was laid to rest at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, Irving, TX on May 4, 2010.

After high school, he was employed by the City of Irving, in it's Vehicle Maintenance department. He started as a helper, but ultimately became manager of the shop. It was told at his funeral, that he was a skilled mechanic and could be a hard taskmaster, but was respected by many as was reflected by the number in attendance that day. He was a very generous person with both friends and family. His family relied on him for encouragement and advice and is missed very much.

Floyd is survived by his sister and several nieces and nephews who adored him.  He was pre-deceased by both parents and a sister.  Floyd was Debbie Bryant Rodriguez's cousin on her Father's side.

Dear Debbie,

I was saddened to hear of Floyd's passing.  Our cousins were such a part of our growing up and they always hold a special place in our hearts.  He sounded like a terrific guy.
