I had the privilege of Diana's friendship during our Bowie Jr.High & Irving High School years. We lived down the street from each other on Betsy Lane. A faint trail from my house to hers can still be seen at times.

Many hours were spent talking, listening to records, 'swimming' at Senter pool; walking to Plymouth Park & our annual day at Six Flags! We shared secrets, discussed the foibles of 'boys'& what we wanted to be when we grew up.

We tried out for Toy Tigers together; got in a few scrapes together, and I just KNEW that we would ALWAYS be good friends!

As lives so often do, Diana & I traveled different paths after high school, but I cherish her memory nonetheless. Like a recently-found 'Polaroid' of us posing in Diana's back yard before beginning our senior year, I treasure the many mental 'souvenirs' she leaves me.
