Dennis Collins and I became friends in the fifth grade at Central. I've told my son about how Dennis and his father took a group of the 5th grade boys on an all day hike following the creek that ran through Senter Park in Irving. Great Fun! Since high school, I only saw Dennis at reunions, but I always enjoyed talking with him and reminiscing about school days. I was looking forward to talking with him again this year when I leaned of his passing. Dennis, you're missed.
