Michael Hood Kocyan of Irving died Saturday in a hospital in Rusk, Texas. He was 33.
Services will be at 2PM Wednesday in the chapel at Ben F. Brown Funeral Home, with the Rev. F.H. Mullendore officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
He was born April 2, 1951, in Dallas and was an Irving resident for 16 years.
He is survived by his parents, Mrs. Bobbie Kocyan of Grapevine and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Kocyan of Irving; two sisters, Jennifer Kocyan of Houston and Anna Miles of Grapevine; and a grandmother, Charlotte Hood of Wichita Falls, Texas.

There was a quiet, gentle strength about Mike that you could sense if you spent even a few minutes with him. He had some beautiful dreams for his future - and we have all lost a great deal in his passing. Much too soon...much too sad.
