James Shafer

Went to work after High School working for a Copier company as a warehouseman. Moved in to the service department after 2 or 3 years. Spent 32 years in this industry as a tech. specialist, troubleshooter, trainer, and service manager. Retired from this industry in 2002. I now work for a family member as the President / Service Manager of an Independent NAPA CarCare Center in Farmers Branch.

Enjoyed working on the Lair Staff as a photograper for part of 1 year. Also enjoyed the DECA class and the fun we had there. Our teacher Betty Beaty (sp?). She always seemed to really care about the kids in her classes and I learned a lot from her that I used in my professional career in my adult life.
