I am so saddened by Darrell's passing. He was truly one of my very favorites at IHS. My deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones.

I am so sad to read of Darrell's passing, he was always a really nice guy when we were all at IHS.

I'm so saddened to hear of Darrell's passing.  He was a sweet guy, and I had a couple really great conversations with him at the 50-year reunion.  I've just added Darrell and his family to my list of people and souls for whom I offer prayer intentions at daily and Sunday Masses.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.  May his soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.  Amen.

As other of our classmates have said, Darrell was easy to know and like, and he seemed to be at peace wherever he went. I join the others in praying for his family and friends, and join the thousands of others, I'm sure, who mourn his passing.

This breaks my heart.  Darrell was such a gentle soul.  My heart is with Marty and his family.  He's been in my thoughts since he received his diagnosis.  I'm confident he was warmly welcomed home by Jim (Van Aernam) and others we have lost.

Darrell never changed, from kindergarten to when we spoke during covid, he was always great to be around. Easy to talk with and with a good sense of humor he will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the world.

Continued prayers for Darrell’s family, that they find peace in the Lord.

I was visiting an Abbey last summer in Arkansas named Subiaco when I heard of Darrell's illness.  We were old buddies at St. Luke's.  Seems like our parent's all had children the same age!  It was hard to believe that someone so vibrant and busy could get ill like he did 😥😥.  Darrell, you were a great husband, father and friend.  We will miss you dearly!!  Marilyn Parma Fulbright <>>

I also meant to say (memory issues), that I had a Mass said for Darrell, and his family wrote me of how appreciative they were of this.  He is resting in peace.  Marilyn
